Our project promotes cultural exchange between Japan and Canada through the sounds of traditional Japanese instruments.
The musicians who will be forming this bond this time are Keita Kanazashi (Japanese drum player) and Yoshimi Tsujimoto (shakuhachi player).
The small seeds that have been sown with the intention of "weaving thoughts" will eventually sprout, and the sound that sprouts will quietly drift
with the wind.
Eventually, it will rise into the air as a breath of life, combining with the beat of the drums resonating through the earth and overlapping with
the breathing of the people.
Based on this image, we named it "IBUKI."
このプロジェクトでは和楽器の音を通して日本とカナダの文化交流を行います。
今回絆を紡いでいくミュージシャンは、金刺敬大(和太鼓奏者)と辻本好美(尺八奏者)の二人です。
「想いを紡ぐ」という意志を持って今まで撒いてきた小さな種が、やがて芽吹き、芽吹いた音は、静かに風をまとい、
やがて空間に息吹として空間に立ち上がり、大地に響く太鼓の鼓動と相まって人々の呼吸と重なっていく。
そんなイメージを基に[息吹]と名付けました。
He started to play Taiko at local Tokyo festivals
when he was 11 years old.
In 2001, He formed with his two younger brothers HA・YA・TO, three brothers unit.
Since then not only as a group but also as a solo,
He's built his career up as a Taiko artist and has expanded his activities abroad.
Keita's style f performance, mixed with elements of Kendo, Japanese dance and Kabuki-bayashi
is praised as a high balanced fusion of daintiness, sensitiveness and dynamism with strong passion, or even elegance.

Having mastered the drums and flute of
Edo-bayashi, they completed their professional
training at Kodo Cultural Foundation.
They further refined their artistry by studying the Nohkan (Noh flute) under the acclaimed master Yukihiro Isso.
A member of the Wadaiko and Fue duo "Horo" with three album releases. They specialize in original music rooted in traditional festival and classical arts, while also composing extensively for regional events and Taiko groups.

武田 朋子
Born in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. A master instructor of the Odajima school of shamisen.
She encountered Tsugaru shamisen in junior high school through a school subject selection.
She studied Tsugaru shamisen under the second-generation master Tokuo Odajima and Shigeyoshi Kamiya,
and folk songs and vocal arrangements under Shizuko Mizuno.
Currently, while focusing on Tsugaru shamisen, she also plays piano and shinobue (bamboo flute) and composes solo works, including "Hitori to Iro" (One Person, Ten Colors). As a solo artist, she continues to explore her relationship with music in various genres and forms, including collaborations and support work.

11歳より、東京下町の地元のお祭りで太鼓を
打ち始め、祭礼やイベントなど数多く出演。
2001年、全国でも稀に見る3兄弟での
和太鼓ユニット”は・や・と”としてプロデビュー。
以降、”は・や・と”としてだけでなく
ソロでの活動も含め、
国内外に活動フィールドを広げている。
日本舞踊や歌舞伎囃子、剣道の要素を取り入れた
繊細さと大胆さを併せ持つ情熱的なパフォーマンスは、業界でも唯一無二の「品格」あるパフォーマンス
と評されている。
江戸囃子の太鼓・笛を習得し「鼓童」文化財団研修所にて研修を修了。能管を能楽の笛方・一噌幸弘氏に師事。
和太鼓と笛のDUO「朋郎」で3枚のアルバムを発売。
祭囃子や古典芸能をベースとした、
オリジナル曲を得意とし、
数多くの作品を生み出している。
地域イベントや太鼓グループへの楽曲提供も多数。
自身の感性をゆるがす全てのものからインスパイアされて生まれる出る、独自の音世界を篠笛・能管で表現していくことを目指す。演奏、作曲、指導と地域を越えて
全国各地で幅広く活動中。
宮城県仙台市出身。三絃小田島流師範代。
中学生のときに学校の選択授業をきっかけに
津軽三味線に出会う。
津軽三味線を二代目小田島徳旺師、神谷茂良師に、
民謡と唄付けを水野詩都子師に師事。
現在津軽三味線を軸とし ながら、自身でピアノを弾き、
篠笛も吹き、作曲するソロワーク
「一人十色(ひとりといろ)」をはじめ、ソロアーティストとしては勿論、共演やサポートを含め、ジャンルや型式にとらわれず音楽との関わり方を模索し続けている。

Tsumugu Project History
和太鼓奏者金刺敬大と尺八奏者辻本好美が、Tsumugu Project 2026 [IBUKI]のテーマのもと、
カナダ・バンクーバーで全4か所の公演を行い、それぞれワークショップを2か所で実施しました。

活動報告
2025年にはキンバリーを訪問し、2026年に予定しているコンサート開催に向けた準備交流も行いました。
現地協力者との面談、学校訪問、会場下見を行い来年の開催に向けて大きく前進しました。
The group also visited Kimberley and engaged in preparatory exchanges for a concert scheduled for 2026.
They met with local collaborators, visited schools, and inspected venues, making significant progress toward next year's event.

キンバリー訪問
2025年には帰国後、羽田康次の地元・愛知でツアー報告を兼ねた凱旋ライブを実施しました。
After returning to Japan, they held a triumphant live concert in Haneda Koji's hometown of Aichi,
which also served as a tour report.

Our 2025 tour was a journey connecting people and culture, in keeping with our unit name, "Tsunagari."
We will continue to build on our past connections into the future and further expand our activities in preparation for our Canadian concert in 2026.
2025年のツアーは「繋」というユニット名に重なるように、人と文化がつながる旅となりました。
これまでのご縁を未来へと紡ぎ、2026年のカナダコンサートに向けて、さらに活動を広げてまいります。
